When a couple moved into a new home in Wayzata ran into one big problem. The master closet in the bedroom wouldn’t be big enough to fit both of their wardrobes in it. Luckily there was a guest room in the basement that wasn’t being used for anything and was the perfect candidate for a closet makeover. It was big enough to fit an island and had ceiling tall enough to accommodate double hanging his extra tall shirts and pants. He also had lots of ties, belts, and watches that needed to be organized.
The closet was done in our new Ember textured melamine. Its darker tones give off a masculine vibe. The island counter top is a Cambria Quartz top from their marble collection. The drawers fronts on the island are the transitional style from Uniboard.
It was decided to go all the way up to the ceiling to make it possible to double hang his long sleeved shirts. It was finished with a contemporary crown to give it a modern built in look.
He also wanted lots of tie racks to help store and organize his many ties.
