Parade of Homes Artisan Home Tour
The Artisan Home Tour by Parade of Homes is going on now through the last weekend in June. This year’s tour features 22 new and remodeled homes from some of the best builders in the twin cities. In each artisan home you can see the craft and attention to detail that goes into each home. This year we were ecstatic to be selected as the closet company for one of the homes in Edina built by our friends at Great Neighborhood Homes. The home is located at 5115 Wooddale Glen in Edina, just across the street from the Edina Country Club. The home is gorgeous and complete with 5 bedrooms, 5 baths, 4,700 square feet, and a 3-car garage. It even has a microbrewery in the basement!
We worked on all the closets in the home along with the laundry room on the 2nd floor. We worked closely with the client and Great Neighborhood Homes to make sure that the closets matched the high quality craftsmanship seen throughout the rest of the home. The master closet was done in Gregio Pine melamine and features plenty of hanging space along the walls along with an island for storing folded items and jewelry.
The laundry room was done is Folkstone Grey to complement the lovely tile. Hanging bars above the sink and washing machines serve as a drying rack for more delicate items.
The two kid’s rooms were done much simpler. One had a slanted ceiling that needed a stair-step design to make the best use of the space.
